* Customer Service Representative – The employees who staff the front counter may be called customer service representatives or sales associates. The job may consist of selling new memberships, checking memberships, washing towels, and completing tasks to the satisfaction of club management. Typically, customer service representatives start out making just above minimum wage.
* Trainer / Instructor – LA Fitness hires personal trainers and instructors to assist gym members with health and exercise issues. Job duties include leading classes, scheduling exercise programs, and working with individual clients. The position may require some training and certification, depending on job title and location. Based on education, certification, experience, and location, a trainer may start out earning between $10 and $15 per hour.
